According to WILCO Toy's sales figures, the top-3 LEGO best sellers on the aftermarket in Q1/Q2 2025 were: the AT-AT UCS (set 75313), Imperial Star Destroy - UCS 2nd Edition (set 75252), and the Bricklink Designer Program Mountain Fortress (910029), the Mos Eisley Cantina (75290), and AT-AT UCS (75313). With the holidays past, snowman polybags and seasonal set sales have dropped off, being replaced by largely by Modulars and recent 2025 BDP releases.
Best LEGO sets by total aftermarket sales (Q1/Q2 2025)
Beyond the top-3 best LEGO sets of the year, it's clear that certain themes continue to drive significant aftermarket sales. The Modular Buildings series and Bricklink Designer Program sets continued to dominate the charts in Q1/Q2 2025 - both commanding high prices and attracting significant sales volume. Gift With Purchase sets, often some best of the best-selling LEGO sets of the year in the aftermarket fell flat in 1H 2025, with many collectors who missed the purchase window opting to pass rather than turning to LEGO resellers to seek out these exclusive models to add to their collections.

Besides ultra rare vintage sets, the most expensive LEGO sets are often promotional kits given out to employees or exclusively available at conventions or events. Of the top-five most expensive LEGO sets in 2024, two were convention/promotional sets: H.C. Andersen's 'Clumsy Hans' (set 4000020) available only in 2015 at the LEGO House as part of their Inside Tour campaign, and Spider Woman Blister Pack (set comcon027) available for a limited time at San Diego Comic Con 2013.
